Many of our listeners probably do not know what Vidaa is. Vidaa is an OS (operating system) for Hisense and Toshiba televisons. Our quest for total 80's radio domination is ever growing. We are super excited to offer our Hisense and Toshiba tv listeners the ability to download our totally excellent 80's radio station app. We also know our Vidaa listeners love our radio station. In 12 months our 80's radio station had 349,977 downloads on the Vidaa platform.. WOW! Thank you for your support.

NEW: NOW PLAYING ON ANDROID TV

We had many requests to add our radio station to the Android TV platform. We are happy to announce our new Hot Hitz 80's Android TV app. This app is only a couple months old and we already have 7,047 app downloads. You guys (and gals) rock!! We have some totally excellent news for ya.. Hot Hitz 80's is 273,753 strong on the Roku platform. Our rad radio station is averaging 1000-1400 new installs every week! The best part of our stats is we only have 458 uninstalls out of 273,753 installs. That says people love what we are doing here at Hot Hitz 80's and we thank all of you for giving us a try. We checked out the stats for our Fire TV app and the listeners have exploded since we last checked. Hot Hitz 80's is now 313,574 strong on the Fire TV platform. NEW SAMSUNG TV NUMBERS ARE IN: NOT TO SHABBY

This year was a fantastic year for our Samsung TV listeners. We now have 31,844 listeners on the Samsung Smart TV app. Our Hot Hitz 80's radio station is growing fast. You suggested we get on Apple TV and that has been done. Our numbers are growing but growing at a slow pace. We are now sitting at 827 downloads so that's 827 more listeners we did't have. We will take what we can get. Hopefully the numbers will continue to grow.

Hot Hitz 80's is now listed on the GetMeRadio.Com web site. This is a new radio listing web site and it's very nice. Get Me Radio has many offerings too! NEW: TuneIN Link Is Secure

As many know Google changed it's web browser and all http links stopped working on Google Chrome. This has had an impact for all streaming radio stations all over the world! We recently discovered our radio station was not broadcasting on the TuneIN web site if you were using the Google Chrome web browser. We are happy to report this issue has been resolved and you can enjoy Hot Hitz 80's on the TuneIN web site using Google Chrome or other web browser that requires a secure https radio link.. Enjoy :-)

NEW: Secure Port 443 Link

So you can't listen to Hot Hitz 80's while you are work? Maybe they have streaming ports blocked at your work place. Now you can try to bypass this issue by using our new Secure Port 443 Link. Port 443 is used for regular web traffic and our station should play if this port is not blocked at your work place. Just make sure you don't crank it up to loud!!

Google made some changes to their web browser Chrome recently. If Hot Hitz 80's is not playing on your Google Chrome web browser simply click on our new Secure SSL Streaming Link. This new link will work on Google Chrome and you can get back to enjoying the best 80's radio station on the planet.

Our New Web Site

We Could Use Some Help

We are not going to act like we have tons of money. We are not some huge radio corporation. The music we purchase comes from our pockets. The prizes we give away are usually purchased by us. We do this because we love it and we love radio. With that said donations are always welcomed here at Hot Hitz. It takes a lot to run a radio station. The cost to run Hot Hitz Radio (servers, royalty fees, equipment, prizes, advertising, t-shirts, bumper sticker, banners ect) is over $1100 a month. Donations are a huge help for us.
